Results from the 20/20 network vision phase define the design phase requirements. These requirements are divided into mandatory and desirable, and then they are prioritized according to business objectives and corporate strategy.

Network response time is analyzed and simulated. A network map is created based on community of interest, geographical locations, and traffic flows. Finally, network security is integrated as per corporate policies and guidelines.

Network planning phase takes into account set Capex, Opex and evolution goals.
